Located on the Florida Mesa in Durango, Colorado Regulator Ranch is a 10-acre irrigated, agricultural farm surrounded by the Southern Ute Reservation. Owned and operated by Breanna, a second grade teacher, and Jeremiah Johnson, an Air Force veteran. We have 6 working CMDs, a pack of chihuahuas, and 8 rescue cats and dogs- thus the name Regulator Ranch.

~ News ~

We currently have two 5-month-old males available and looking for their forever farm. Mr. Orange and Mr. Brown are registered G3 pups out of SWF Maximus Chavez of RRD and PPF Arwen Juliette of RRD. They live with our Nigerian Dwarf goats and share a fence line with our poultry. Excellent guardians already as the predator load continues to increase with spring rolling in.

Our Dogs

All of the CMDs at Regulator Ranch are goat and poultry safe.

Our amazing stud, SWF Maximus Chavez of RRD! Max is 2 years old and has sired both of the litters here on Regulator Ranch. He transitions so well from outside livestock guardian to inside cuddle monster.

PPF Arwen Juliette of RRD is an excellent guardian, lover, and mother. She has taken great care of her 9 pups born October 11, 2022.

WFF Soul Glo of RRD is everything you could ask for in an LGD. She protects her goats and poultry with great determination and listens and stays close to her humans when walking the property with us. She had one litter in June 2022 and we’re planning to breed her again in 2023!

RRD Oswaldo Burton is a giant, 9 month old polar bear. He has been an amazing big half-brother to our most recent litter- very patient and gentle with the pups while also teaching them the ropes of guarding. He enjoys naps in the garage while we work!

RRD Ziva Everdeen is the newest female at Regulator Ranch out of Max & Arwen. She LOVES her goats and outdoor life!

RRD Otis Tarantino is the newest male at Regulator Ranch and he loves to sing! He is a sweetheart and we are excited to see him grow up!

~ Our Other Farm Projects ~

We currently offer farm fresh free range eggs, farm fresh Jumbo Cornish hens, and free range turkeys. We also have Nigerian Dwarf goats and are expecting kids this March and will soon be offering goat milk products: soap, lotion, cheese, milk, butter, etc.
