Introducing KFF Legolas, G3, by Francis x Sprinkles - Colorado Springs, CO. Largest of his litter, Legolas turns a year old in May 2025. He is already 120 pounds, and will reach 150 pounds at minimum according to his veterinarian - a true giant. 

Legolas is a highly versatile dog, as happy patrolling territory as he is cuddling on the couch; easy to take on trips and hikes but highly protective of the home. Highly trainable and intelligent, this is both a livestock guardian dog and a family dog. While gentle and respectful to cats, other dogs, and turkeys that roam the area, he is incredibly brave when confronted with a bear or mountain lion.

Wyoming - CCH Perrin of ABF, G3, Carpenter, WY.  Perrin came to me from Abbe Richardson for Clear Creek Homestead.  He is a Grandson of my favorite CMD in the whole breed; The Great Bandersnatch.  Bander stood with me for some time and gave me my beautiful Fern that I brag about all the time.  This fellow has the EXACT same temperament.  Quiet, biddable, extremely intuitive, and easily a Soul Dog.  When his golden eyes look at you, they look right into your heart.  Poultry and goat safe.  Easily accepts strangers, loves children has been in with goats and poultry 24/7. COLORADO - Professor MadEye Moody is a young stud G1 uniquely unrelated to any other in the current CMDR genetic pool. He is large at nearly 100lb at 18 months of age and is expected to reach 130-150lb at maturity. He is tall, long legged, and thick boned. He sports a single black badger marking on his face, white with black spotting throughout his medium length, dense and downey, self cleaning coat and a single set of front dewclaws. He is comfortable in a wide range of weather conditions, from -10 and snowing to 80s and sunny. His long legs and big feet help him through our rocky foothill terrain especially with deep snow. He has warm brown eyes, and a personality that will make you melt.

MadEye is a huge presence physically, but is our heart and soul guardian. He would rather be near our 100 plus animals at all times, and is in charge of watching the animals when our alpha runs perimeter. We were amazed to discover that he would take the stay at home dad job, and has been our full time watch nanny since the pups were born after patiently and tirelessly working his way closer and closer to the puppy house after birth, despite frequent protest from Dam. He is relentless in his guarding duties, and his commitment to love any small creature. He loves his puppies, and has been in charge of nanny duties since the pups were 3 weeks old at which time our alpha resumed her role as farm charge mostly visiting the pups for feedings. No one is allowed to pass him by without a lean and several pets. He has won over every human who has visited the farm without exception. MadEye is the balance for our highly driven alpha, providing backup and physical size in confrontation with bears, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, and aerial predators every single day. He is nurturing and playful with his pups, and checks on the pups  before offering backup to our alpha. Freja provides security to our property, and MadEye's priority is always the safety of his charges from pups to small chicks that have gotten loose. He will standby until they have been retrieved and secured.

Nio is a gentle giant. He is so gentle with kids but the same time a protector of them and the goats / quails.
