OUM Uhtred and ABF Mae have done it again! Elk Run Ranch (ERR) has another beautiful, happy and healthy bunch of puppies that will be ready for their own farms soon.

OUM Uhtred (sire) is my unicorndog. He barks when appropriate, doesn’t wander, and keeps a close eye out for threats around the farm.  He looks and sounds intimidating, but he is a gentle giant and always greets people with a wagging tail and loves belly rubs. 
ABF Mae (dam) is a true livestock guardian dog, come rain or snow you will find her outside watching over her sheep and chickens. She ADORES babies! Any babies - human, lambs, or chicks - she gravitates to them and smothers them with love and protection.

Uhtred and Mae have ended our predator losses. CMDs have made it possible for us to have a farm while being completely off-grid and remote in Northern Arizona - they are irreplaceable farm partners.  I would love to place these puppies in homes so they can do the same for your farm! 

We are asking $1700 per puppy. They will be dewormed and have age appropriate shots.  The puppies are outside full time with our 25 free-ranging chickens and have been exposed to sheep and cats. Uhtred and Mae have guarded chickens, turkey, pigs, cattle, sheep, cats and kids.

We are excited to introduce our Country Singers litter at KB Ranch! These G3 Colorado Mountain Dog puppies are being raised on our small working farm in Castle Rock, Colorado, where they are growing up surrounded by livestock, children, families, and plenty of activity.

Meet T23 Osa of KBR!
Osa is the proud mama of this litter and the reason we fell in love with Colorado Mountain Dogs. She guards our sheep and goats and has exactly the temperament we value in a livestock guardian. Osa is calm, affectionate, incredibly gentle with children, and a very discerning barker. She does not bark simply to greet people coming onto the property, but she takes her job seriously and has chased coyotes, stray dogs, and other potential predators away from her animals.

Osa is also exceptionally well socialized. KB Ranch is both a working farm and an active wedding and event venue. We host weddings, kids’ camps, Saturday brunches, farm events, and other gatherings throughout the year. Osa is regularly around new people, children, vendors, vehicles, and activity on the property and handles it all beautifully. If you’ve ever visited our farm, there’s a good chance you’ve met and fallen in love with her! It’s because of Osa that we fell in love with the breed and ultimately decided to raise a litter of our own.

Meet UUUT23 Epic!
Epic is an impressive young male, already standing over 30 inches tall and weighing 103 pounds. Despite being an outcross, Epic embodies many of the characteristics of the Colorado Mountain Dog. At just 14 months old, he is still maturing, but the end result is already easy to envision. His size, presence, and developing characteristics made him an exciting complement to Osa, and we are looking forward to seeing the qualities this pairing produces as their puppies continue to mature.

They have been extensively handled and exposed to children, adults, livestock, other animals, vehicles, and the many sights and sounds of a busy working farm. Because we also operate a wedding and event venue, host kids’ camps, Saturday brunches, and other events, these puppies have had an incredible amount of early exposure to people and activity while growing up alongside their mom and our farm animals. Posted August 27, 2026 - TN. Haven Hills Farm G4 puppies are now available in Middle Tennessee!

The puppies are from LDGD Gideon of HHFS x OUM Esme of HHFS and come out of Caspian Lines.  Puppies were born May 20th (Litter #HHFS26LIT1G4), have completed their initial vet evaluations and are NOW AVAILABLE for pick up or transport!   Puppies are finding homes quickly. Of the 12 in this litter there are 3 Males remaining.

This is the third litter from this special pair and the testimonials on our website speak for themselves! Puppies will be registered and up to date with vaccinations and dewormings at the time of adoption. They are raised with our alpaca (born in the barn next to them) and will also be exposed to our poultry, barn cats, and children of all ages who interact with them daily.   We’ve recently placed other siblings with local sheep/ goat farms, chicken farms, as companions to older guardians, and as support dogs.

Fantastic Fletcher Farm, “FFF” is proud to introduce a litter by a direct Dolly son - Arathorn, grandson of Caspian. We paired this special dog, to ABF Arwen, who is Perrin x Aria Grande. This G3 litter is a special chance to get some archival Caspian genetics.

Arathorn of FFF - He is a unicorn. We love everything about him. He is poultry safe, discerning barker, great with our kids, and protecting of my kids! Arathorn is guarding cattle, goats, and chickens. He has beautiful CMD type, and is intelligent and trainable. He greets all our guests with a wagging tail.
ABF Arwen - Arwen is great with cattle and goats, and is a great guardian. She loves our kids and asks for belly rubs. She greets our guests with wagging tail, even with young pups. We are still working on poultry safety with this young dog, but she does respond to training and is intelligent.

POSTED Aug 25,2026- Colorado — We are thrilled to welcome the G4 Codenames litter out of White Horse Ridge born August 1st! We have 7 males and 1 female available. Litter #WHR026LIT1G4

T23 Strider of WHR is our large sable male who is as calm and sweet with children and goats as he is fiercely protective against threats (including aerial predators). Everyone who meets him loves his gentle giant nature. We live on a property whose previous owners had lost livestock to mountain lions, and yet we have had no predator load on our goats or chickens because of his vigilance. He takes his job very seriously by making his rounds on our perimeter day and night, and when chasing a threat stops at the perimeter line.

STHH Lakota of WHR is our stunning silver female and is the embodiment of the CMD physically and functionally. She is lean and athletic with a non-drooling muzzle, a discerning barker, and completely chicken safe. She is a lover and friendly to visitors she meets, but is able to switch to guardian mode as soon as she senses a threat or something out of place. She is also a complete sweetheart with my toddler which is essential to us. 

We expect these puppies to be well-rounded homestead guardians who are excellent with children, livestock, are discerning barkers, and an intimidating presence who are also friendly to visitors just like their parents. Puppies will be exposed to chickens, goats, and lots of people of all ages- especially children. They will be up to date on vaccines and vet-checked for health. Posted August 20,2026 — Colorado We have six females and three males available from our June 29 G4 litter.  This litter is sired by Perrin of ABF https://www.wyopineranch.com/colorado-caspian-mountain-dogs/ . Dam is Lily of GHF with Caspian lineage. Litter registration number: #GHF026LITG4. Litter includes 7 registered CMDR pups as well as two non-standard males with very cute brown (liver) colored nose and paws.  All nine puppies are free of dewclaws on hind legs. We performed DNA analysis on one of the puppies and the breakdown is Great Pyrenees (71.6%), Anatolian Shepherd (18.3%) and Caucasian Ovcharka (10.1%).

Our little farm has 30+ chickens and both parents are poultry safe. Just like their parents, the puppies are very people friendly and used to being around our seven children 1 year old and up. Posted May 27,2026 - Montana I'm so excited to introduce this Colorado Mountain Dog litter from Montana! (Litter # MMR026LIT1CMDR) We have 9 G5 Colorado Mountain Dogs (purebred) puppies located just east of Billings, Montana. Parents spend their days guarding sheep, chickens, and children. They have also been exposed to horses and a dairy cow.

9 fluffy puppies were born on April 14, 2026, 3 Males, 6 Females. All puppies are solid white and should have a very traditional Colorado Mountain Dog look. Puppies are scheduled for their shots and health check on June 17th and will be available after that.

I have 4 females and 1 male left.

Sire is TMF Ragnar: tall, sweet, very discerning in his barking, and quite confident. He loves to hang back with the livestock and respects fences.
