Holy Trinity Monastery G5 puppies available starting December 20.

We are very excited to announce the birth of 6 male & 6 female puppies out of FWF Bailey of HTM by NWF Maximo of HTM litter # HTM024LIT1CMD. The puppies were born on 10/25/24 and are growing well! The puppies are registered and will have received age appropriate vaccinations and dewormings. The puppies are being raised with our sheep & goats and will also be exposed to our poultry, barn cats, herding dogs, the monks of our brotherhood and some of our visitors. Both sire & dam work on our farm and have lived up to our hopes of what a CMD would be. They are accpeting of our visitors while still excelling at guarding our mixed flock from aerial & four legged predators. As a bonus, they both have nearly maintenance free coats. They really have provided us with such peace of mind and joy. For those involved with breeding we feel these G5 puppies can provide some excellent outcross genetics!

Abundairy farm is more than pleased and very excited to announce the 8/5/2024 CCH Perrin of ABF X UUU Guinevere of ABF litter (Litter # ABF024LIT3G3) are officially ready for their new Homesteads. The families who reserved pups have made their choices and the other pups are eager to meet you. Guinevere needs little introduction. This beautiful, complete outcross has quickly made a name for herself. She is friendly, discerning, biddable, versatile and serious about protecting her charges from land and air threats. Despite being raised in an apartment until she was nine months old, Gwen has been poultry and goat/newborn kid safe from day 1. Her puppies from her first two litters have proven to be tremendous assets to each of their new families and thus far have carried those traits through. Each pup from Gwen’s first two litters have shown tremendous aptitude and effectiveness for their guardianship duties. One owner shared a Coyote story with me where her Gwen son helped drag a coyote up to the house after successful eradication. CCH Perrin of ABF is a delightful G3 stud who has proven himself here at Abundairy Farm in his livestock guarding capacity. Perrin is an excellent mentor to his pups, is poultry and goat/kid safe. He is the favorite of our Fed Ex guy and visiting children are Perrin’s absolute delight. Perrin has sired several litters for me now with a wide variety of Females. Every single pup has been an absolute joy to raise. They have all been engaging, biddable, friendly, quiet and so easy to train. Several have traveled across the country and made it look like they have traveled that much as a habit. is extremely friendly, quiet and discerning. Perrin is an amazing dog that I’m so fortunate to own. His pups are making quite a name for him. This cross will bring the COI down for many discerning breeders because Gwen is a complete outcross. Both parents are DNA tested clear. Perrin is CT clear and Gwen hasn’t been tested for CT yet. Both parents passed hip X-rays. I have several males and a couple of females available in this litter of pups who we are sure will knock your socks off. All pups have had their first set of shots, several wormings and a vet visit under their belt. Every pup greeted the Vet and staff with kisses, wiggles and smiles. Posted Sept 18, 2024 Have you been looking for a serious dog to guard your new (or existing) larger Homestead or big Ranch? I have the perfect girl for you. This pup is third generation on Mom’s side, here at Abundairy Farm. Dad is the amazing CCH Perrin of ABF. Perrin is a crowd favorite here at ABF. He is an outstanding guardian, discerning barker, friendly to everyone, doesn’t challenge fences and has been raised with my goats and chickens. Perrin is clear for all genetic issues, including CT. mom is our famous ABF Fern who is the mascot of our farm. Fern knows no strangers and actually beats Perrin in coyote numbers to date. This female pup is tough, strong, bold, outgoing, gritty, intuitive, hands down pack leader with dominant personality, no nonsense but still an absolute snuggly love bug. She is going to give every predator (including arial that she already alerts to) a run for their money. This is the kind of dog for a predator load that includes mountain lion, bear and wolves. She will take her guarding job seriously and I would prefer she goes to a larger Homestead with an experienced LGD person . This female is being mentored by my best dogs and will be hard to beat. POSTED Sept 10, 2024 Tierhaus 23 introduces the G4 CCH Cadsuane of T23 x T23 Daxo litter, born July 29th, 7 girls and 5 boys.  Caddie is a consummate guardian.  She never puts a foot wrong with our livestock, including goat kids and free range turkeys.  She also enthusiastically guards against aerial predators.  She is tall, at 29”, and is a gorgeous black seal. Daxo is a great example of a Colorado Mountain dog.  He greets guests enthusiastically and watches over our entire farm. Both parents are loving members of our family. The pups will be available October 21st. They will have age appropriate vaccines, microchips, registration in the CMDR, and be started on basic livestock and obedience training including car rides. CNK Hyla has been an amazing mama and has raised these beautiful babies with so much love. Hyla is my heart dog and exudes grace. She is a big girl at 30” and is 1/8 Boz. She takes her guarding seriously and her and the pups have shared a fence line with geese, ducks, goats and chickens. Hyla is my sky watching dog and is the first of the pack to alert to aerial predators. T23 Ajax is a big sweetheart that is so kind and easy going, he is a year old and stands 29”. POSTED AUGUST 27, 2024 Excited to announce the upcoming G5 litter from FWF Bailey of HTM with NWF Maximo of HTM. The litter will be registered with the Colorado Mountain Dog Registry.   We are very excited about this breeding!  Not only will the puppies be G5, the sire and dam are such wonderful dogs. Bailey is refined and feminine, sweet with her people and an absolute dream with her goats & sheep.  With predators, both four legged and aerial, she is fearless and powerful.   Max is a tall, laid back, gentle giant. Very intelligent and has never made a mistake with even the bounciest of goat kids. He has really grown into his role as guardian. The puppies will be well socialized by the monks of our monastery and exposed to our livestock (sheep, goats & chickens) as well as barn cats & herding dogs. POSTED AUG 25, 2024 G4 puppies! CCH Perrin of ABF X ABF Fern DOB 7/1/2024 Embark tested clear and both parents hip tested clear. Perrin is our huge, beautiful, resident goofball. He loves everyone and everything. Perfect with all stock; including baby goats and poultry. Perrin knows no strangers, is biddable, doesn’t challenge fences. Although it took showing him not to, he won’t even go through the barbed wire fence here. He is just that smart and trainable. Perrin alerts to arial threats and has no trouble keeping the coyotes away. The Mom to this litter is the famous ABF Fern. Fern was born here and boasts the great Bandersnatch as her Sire. Those of us who have Bandersnatch in our lives, know what an absolutely amazing dog he is. Fern is EVEN BETTER! Fern is our resident mentor and has raised/trained all of our up and coming dogs. She is my soul dog and like her Daddy, somehow knows exactly the right things to do at just the right time. Fern saved a momma goat and the momma goat’s three babies from a dog attack when Fern was only nine months old. Fern has a bark alarm that sends every animal to the barn or their shelter. Everyone waits until Fern gives the all clear before they leave the safety of cover. Truly something special to watch. Fern is the fan favorite here at the Ranch. Her sweet temperament draws everyone to her. She has taken over the position of Colorado Mountain Dog liaison and has brought many wonderful people hours of joy, emotional support and comfort. Both of these pups are showing great aptitude as guardians for poultry and goat OF ALL AGES.. Both have a rudimentary recall and are learning to sit for pets. They both are extremely friendly, love children and are the easy kind of temperament. These amazing pups had their first vet visit at seven weeks with well puppy exams and first shots and are current on worming. They have been living with baby goats, chickens, Momma goats, house dogs, and barn cats. Many strangers, big and small will have played with your pups before they leave. Your new pup will be kid tested and Mother approved. Perrin is a huge fellow who knows no stranger. He excels at arial and land threats. He is a close proximity dog who takes the day shift in our team. He is gentle with the charges and can even be trusted with chickens and baby goats. Mokie is my lead female her at the Ranch.
