About Milky Way Mountain Caprines - Our primary focus is to provide a supply of the freshest sweetest healthiest goat milk possible, while facilitating a relationship between the community and one of its most sustainable food sources. We allow the public an opportunity to own a portion of our herd, and thereby to gain access to raw milk. We practice permaculture and humane treatment of our animals, providing them with spacious pastureland, our own alfalfa/grass hay, local sprouted grains, and a lifestyle tempered by the utmost respect and care from their human caretakers. We have G1 Colorado Mountain Dogs to assist us in our duties, and are thrilled to contribute the best we can to the development of this excellent breed of LGD.

Our Farm Projects
We are a diversified small business enterprise located in Crestone Colorado. We install wood, pellet, and gas stoves, and do solar earth climate solutions, greenhouse geothermal, and climate battery self-heating and cooling greenhouses. We do goat shares, and raise Colorado Mountain Dogs!
