First vet check under their belt and they all passed with wagging tails and flying colors! The dam, ABF Angel is a tail wagging, leaning, wiggly, loving guardian on a huge cattle and horse Ranch. Sweet and easy with all the humans and a force to be reckoned with around predators. Angel has the extreme intuition to know when people are “off” and has no qualms about letting you know. She is outspoken, bold in her opinion but calm in her demeanor. This makes her a great “therapy” type dog and an even better guardian. She doesn’t appreciate chaos and strives for everything to be calm and works to maintain order. Excellent mentor to her pups. Goat, chicken/poultry, barn cat, cow and horse safe. The Sire UUU Trapper weighs in at 100 lbs and is 100% Akbash. He greets everyone with snuggles, tail wags and licks. I have known this tall fellow almost his whole life. Always steady, always welcoming, always healthy. Also an extremely fierce guardian when it comes to predators. Ariel or ground. Trapper is short coated while Angel has the traditional CMD coat. These pups are all short haired. Bred to a long coat, 50% of their pups will be long coated and 50% will be short.Both parents have passed hip X-rays as of 1/2/2024. Trapper is Embrak tested clear. Angel’s parents both Embark tested clear except for lower liver enzyme base reading. Angel could carry this gene so I recommend that each of these pups have their base liver enzyme level taken when they are about six months old (or whenever your vet recommends). I happy to talk dog. I only have two males left from my 9 week old litter of Colorado Mountain Dog pups, CMDR #ABF023LIT2G3. I have to brag a little…this litter has proven to me that what I am doing in terms of temperament and aptitude is starting to breed true. Each pup has developed into EXACTLY what I am looking for. My program demands that my pups come out seemingly already trained to chickens and goats because that is what I need help protecting here at Abundairy Farm. Should you come for a visit to my Farm, you won’t hear my dogs or my pups barking at you if I’m outside. My dogs remain wherever I put them. Outside the fence, inside the fence, in the barn, etc. These pups are spot on!! So, without further ado… Let me introduce you to this young fellow, who understands the assignment, and wants to prove it to you . Dont forget to give your livestock the gift of protection for Christmas. This fellow may be an initial up front investment but the savings he will gift you year after year is well worth the price! He is quiet, biddable, fence compliant and has never met a person he didn’t like. Mom is UUU Guinevere of ABF who was innovated in by Abundairy farms.
